Experiential marketing guru Bernd H. Schmitt for Marketing & Brand Seminar
Kingston: May 26: World Authority on Experiential Marketing and Brand Innovation Icon, Dr. Bernd Schmitt will be the featured presenter at this year’s annual Marketing Excellence & Brand Leadership Seminar from Synergy Communications. Billed, Managing the Brand Experience: Sense, Feel, Think, Act, Relate, the event will be held at the Hilton Kingston Hotel on Wednesday, June 10.
Bernd Schmitt (PhD, Cornell University) is Robert D. Calkins Professor of International Business at Columbia Business School, New York and Director of the Centre on Global Brand Leadership; the leading forum worldwide for executives and researchers addressing the challenges of building and sustaining great brands. His business and marketing frameworks are used across the world by small and large companies to gain competitive advantage and to spur growth.

The topic for this session is Big Think Strategy: How to Build Brand Icons. Schmitt will show senior executives how to bring bold thinking into their brand strategy by sourcing big ideas and executing them creatively. In his presentation, he will draw on years of advice to corporate leaders on brands and experience strategies.
He will use abundant examples including Starbucks, Audi, BP’s “Beyond Petroleum” and Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty” to illustrate how big think strategy applies to brand building. The presentation will conclude with a focus on organizational issues.
